About Perfection Snacks

Founder's Corner

"We believe feeling good and healthier living starts with what you eat, real food with ingredients you can pronounce"

- Amy Holyk, Founder & CEO

Some say October is Celiac Awareness Month and some say it's May. For those like me, gluten-sensitivity and Celiac awareness is a year round thing.

When Perfection Snacks® was first born in 2008, I was struggling with some health issues and my doctor suggested I stop eating food with gluten because of an autoimmune diagnosis. I did stop and from that point on I felt so much better but gluten-free choices were hard to come by and for the most part tasted terrible. As a fledgling momprenuer, I was determined to create delicious snacks without gluten or any of the artificial stuff that most snacks have, but still be every bit as flavorful to my palate and to a kid's palate. And let me tell you—my kids were the toughest food critics out there (they still are).

It has been a lot of work over the years but it has been well worth it. I absolutely love creating healthier snacks that replace all those snacks we grew up eating and loved but are terrible for us! It’s been very fun to create without sacrificing on flavor or quality ingredients and to see my mission come to life. From the many thank you notes and testimonials we've received, we are well on our way to helping so many eat better and live healthier lives.

Thank you to all that enjoy our products and believe in our values. We’re just getting started….

Behind the Scenes Story

Diversity & Inclusion

Women Owned. Native American Owned. We are always challenging ourselves to be better and to do better with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion within our leadership, team, suppliers, partners, and community.

Perfection Snacks is a certified women owned and minority owned business representing the indigenous peoples Choctaw tribe.

Sustainability

Committed to transparency, ethical practices and environmental sustainability, we continue to search for ways to do things better in areas that make the most significant impacts such as circular design, sustainable packaging, ingredient sourcing, transport and food rescue.

We believe everyone should have access to nutritious food yet millions of Americans suffer from food insecurity. We donate shelf-stable food to local food banks and agencies throughout the year to help fight food hunger in our communities. Through innovative partnerships we keep unavoidable food wastes out of landfills by offering it to farms, composters and recyclers as feed for livestock.
